Strange Conversations.

A friend once told me that i have strange conversations with strangers. The airport where i work is a great place to converse with strangers. The other night i was helping the lady and she had an accent of some sort. When I asked her about it she said she was born in Cuba and raised in NY. Her husband was getting the rental car as we spoke. She started telling me how she met her husband. She and some girl friends were taking a tour of Mexico City on a bus, but there wasnt a seat where her and her girlfriends could sit together. Then some guy offered up his seat so that all the girls could sit together. She was very surprised that he was so nice as to give up his seat. She said that back then (1974)guys were not like that. SHe then asked me if i was nice like that, and of course i said yes And they fell in love and married shortly thereafter. He was from Pennsylvania and she from NY. She believes it was destiny.

okay, so i have never gave up my seat on a bus, but then again, i have not been on a bus since grade school, and even then i hardly ever got on a bus. My brother would say i never got on the bus because of the Nightmare On Elm Street flick. Not true!

just didnt like getting up early to stand outside.

besides, my mom had a yellow blazer. it was my own "short bus".

Hey Jay my parents told me a similar story like that which involved a Bus.  They did not meet on a Bus Though, but They did tell me I was Conceived on one......hehehe.

yeah, your brother told me  a story about a bus trip you guys were on, and your shoes melted? haha...

i believe my folks met in a movie theatre that used to be on F Street.

i dont remember the details though.
