Can't make file executable
« on: November 08, 2009, 11:54:19 pm »
Ever since I installed Ubuntu on this machine I have not been able to install Adobe Air because I can not make the BIN file executable. I have done it from the command line

Code: [Select]
chmod +x AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
and I have right clicked it, under properties, Permissions, Make file executable, but still nada.

not really a solution but I was finally able to install Adobe Air. They released Air 2 into beta and it now has a DEB which is easier to install

Plus, this is a different machine then the one i was having trouble with.
