If you’re on the right track, don’t just sit there, you may get run over.

I partially agree with you Rob.  I love the weather in the winter but the summer....crap, I sweat just thinking about the humidity/heat of the valley.........Its not as humid here in Austin....but still f*king hot.  But, I’m more of a Summer person than winter……

i know i only spent one summer in austin by when i was there i did not think it was so bad. It was actually kind of fresher. When i drove down here for a few days i could tell the difference big time. crap, we had no freaking grarse in the yard. I never even used the AC in my apartment up there. Cept maybe on a few lazy sundays or when i had company. my electric would only come out to like 20 or 3o bucks! hehe

Texans don't understand the meaning of the word cold, or snow.  Cold is when your face feels like it is burning and melting off your face.  Even the word burn does not describe the pain that is felt when you walk less than a city block in -14 degree weather.  All you feel is pain, and within 24 hours the evidence of the pain that you felt is relived when your ears, and nose begin to peel.
Snow is what is on the sidewalks and refuses to leave.  It makes you trip, and stumble, until you fall.  Then you realize that what you have fallen increases the level of pain that you are going through just because it is cold!

to me. hell no.

Hey TLC.  Thats why we dont live in those Rediculious Places where we want our face to burn and cant walk a block because we will turn into a Snow cone.  Just i lived in Missouri for 10 mos. got there in Feb it was snowing and left in December and it was snowing.  And they say there summers our hot. Thats its not the heat its the humidity.  I was not even going to argue with them.  But here TLC.  We Love our weather just the fact that at some point in the middle of the night i get the urge to go outside in my underwear to take a smoke ,  [smiley=smoking.gif] I CAN .  we tropical people.
