Google recently put up over 700 million posts that were archived in Usenet. Usenet being newsgroups. The oldest dates back to 1981

here is the first discussion about the Y2K problem. Dated 1985.

Now that is some cool crap! I love looking at posts in old newsgroups and forums. Now I am going to have to scroll around Google when I have time.
