Came into a pretty decent laptop running Vista Home Basic and other than having to click 3 friggin popup "Are you sure" things every time I wanna do crap, it seems ok.

Of course I killed the paint job and all - and WIFI is AWESOME. Much better than my DS browsing.   ;D
Take care,

I recently had a run in with a few Vista machines on a side job i did. They got themselves a 2003 server so they wanted to update their network for better permissions and things so I suggested to create a domain so that all users accounts are handled by the 2003 server. Firstly, none of the PCs they had were Professional or Business edition. So they did that.

Then I couldnt get the Vista machines on the domain.

I had to configure the 2003 server as the DNS server in order for the Vista boxes to join.

SO, that 2003 Server turned into a Domain Sever, DNS Server, and DHCP server within a few hours.... CHA CHING! for me, but it was a learning experience and I would have been out of there sooner if it wasnt for Vista.

So that was pretty much dumb
