Well Dell almost screwed me over. They did, but I recovered.

I had an interview with Dell, not really Dell but the company they hired to contract employees in the beginning of November and I got the job. I was to be working at the help desk starting December 1. On November 24th I had orientation so the 21st was to be my last day interning for the Attorney General. Everyone said goodbye, had a small meeting to wish me luck. It was very cool.

So Orientation went great. Took care of all the new hire paperwork and almost got my badge but the badge lady was out on lunch, so that was to be taken care of on the first. After orientation I drove down to the Valley.

The next morning I was awaken by a phone call from Dell telling me that my position had been pushed back to Febuary. Crap. I then started looking for jobs down in the valley. I got a few leads. A few hours later I was talking to Tony and he put me on the phone with my boss and she said I could come back to the Attorney Generals to finish off my internship.

SO here I am....

Damn Bro,

Its about Fu*king time.  I was wondering what happened to the site.  Anyway, glad to see your forum is back on line.  As far as that job offer, sounds like a raw deal.  At least your in come February.  I have since been forced to take a job at Derrell B. Hester (juvenile detention center) I am still looking into some leads into working a Bailiff job at the courthouse in Brownsville.  That would be an awesome position with all the good looking ladies in skirts, LOL.  Well, like I said glad to see your forums are back on line.

kewl, a Bailif. I'd start calling you Bull, like in night court.

That detention center is the one in San Benito ain't it?

I dont think i will be taking that job come Febuary. I will probably be back down in the valley. I would be worried sick about renewing my lease only to lose the job soon after anyway.

Who knows where I will end up. I am going to take it day by day though.
