Played with a piece of software called Photomix.

It is used to create Collages.

I can't stand the fact that there is no UNDO button! I screw up a lot, and play with a lot of different settings because, i am not creative and its the only way to learn, but it was freaking annoying to not have an undo.  Each picture that you add to the collage are placed into Frames, like in Photoshop, and you can then add effects to that particular effects. It comes with a good set of effects, like all sorts of possible borders from Blurs, OVals, Stamps, and then some. You can also adjust the colors of the photos, add text and so on.

What is that yellow stanchion with the solar panel on the top of it?

its a way for someone walking the trail to call in an emergency. The solar panel saves the cost of running electrical wiring. I used to see those kinds of things on street lights in Austin all the time.
