Here is a screenshot of the Installation Option Window.

You will see three new programs, One Note, Iris, and Info Path.

Here is a screen shot of what One Note looks like when started up.

I have not messed with it much, but i did go through the tour. It seems like this program is a Must have for tablet PCs because it acts like a paper Note Book, but MS is pushing it as an all platform piece of software. Ill mess with it some more.

i have not installed the other two programs yet.

toying with One Note a little bit today. Its pretty neat, its like a notepad, you can write anything anywhere by clicking anywhere and then start typing, or you can click on the Pen tool and drawing anything anywhere with your mouse.

When installed you have three sections, Meetings, Quick Notes, and General. You can then add more Sections which gets tabbed along side the others.

When installed you get an Icon in the system tray which allows you to open the whole One Note software or you can create Quick Notes with out opening the entire software, the notes you create automatically get moved to your Quick Notes folder. As of right now i dont believe this program can be synched my Palm Pilot. If it does this Quick Notes will come in handy, because when i sync with my palm pilot i have it set to Synch with Outlook and Outlook does not store The Notes i make with the Palm, i have to use the Palm Destktop Software to retrieve the Notes. So hopefully this can be intergrated.

I seriously doubt the Beta version of Outlook is going to be compatible with my Palm Synching. I will be trying it though.

Anyway, off to test some more.
