Windows Log on Splash Logo.

Yes you can change the default logo for Windows XP that is used when you are booting.

You can look through a whole bunch of prefabbed splash logos here:
http://www.themexp.org/view.php?type=boot

You will get a Zip file with many files, and one Readme.

Basically you are replacing a file in C:\windows\system32 called ntoskrnl.exe, if you have SP1 installed there is file called ntoskrnlSP.exe that you have to rename to ntoskrnl.exe before you replace the one in the system32 folder.

You have to do the replacing in Safe Mode and with Administrative rights, and if you put the wrong ntoskrnl.exe in there you will get a BSOD and you will have to call me to fix it for you, because there is no getting in after that, no safe mode, no dos prompt, nothing, unless of course you have it at FAT32. I wont charger you much...hehe...

How do i know this, cuz i jacked up my PC here at work but managed to fix it with an expensive arse bootdisc. wink, wink...

Try it out...
