New Camera!!!
« on: September 25, 2003, 09:07:41 am »
Well, after many months of not having a digital camera i took the plunge last nite and got me a new one.

From reading the Lockergnome newsletters i new that if i could ever afford one i would get a Canon G series. But I couldnt find one i liked and the G5 was to big and bulky.

So i was down to the S400, S45, and the S50. All the same price and almost identical except that the S50 was a 5 MegaPixel camera and it was black! The fact that it was black had me looking at the other two. It was down to the S40 and S50. I really wanted a silver cam but settled with the S50 just because it is a 5 MegaPixel cam, and after reading some reviews there is not much difference between the S50 and S45 anyway. That the difference between 5MP and 4MP is slim, except if you do serious arse printing...

I am trying to get used to the settings of this cam. Its a simple point n shoot in some ways but complicated in others. I want to get my moneys worth though..

I will post some pics later but here is a pic of the camera:

just about the only thing that stands the test of time is Corvettes. Am i right or am i right?

Hell even a junked Vette can be worth more then a brand new Honda..

Got to love Corvettes...

You defenitley took the plunge on that one, LOL.  I'll give ya back the old Toshiba, na just kiddin.  It looks like a real sharp camera but I can see how you probably would have wanted it in silver.
