Digital Checkbook
« on: September 09, 2002, 02:01:46 pm »
here is the story, when i was in austin i grabbed a checking account at Comparse and their online banking was pretty cool, very simple, and everything was updated at midnight. so if i used my checks or checkcard it would be updated that same night. it  was great cuz i have never liked using them registers for every purchase.

now, when i moved back down here, i opened another checking account, but there online banking is crap! so now i have to log my purchases so i know how much money i got.

but while i was in austin i bought a m105 Palm Pilot from some guy online dirt cheap! i have been using it for little things like my school schedule, arseignments, and such. So a little while ago i found checkbook software for it, and i can say it really kicks arse. it can be found here

no good to you if you dont have a palm though. its very slick.

after inputing your balance and check numbers everything is automatic. you can even export all your records to Excel.

really cool.
