Way back in the day ( well, late 80's ), a freind of mine fell in love with a '72 Superbeetle with a metalic flake green paint job and big fat slicks on the back and jacked up and that kind of thing. Looked sweet, but this thing was messed up and would go through wheel bearings about one a month.

I thought they were hot looking, but they had very little internal room.  I guess that is why everyone kept having contests to stuff one with the most people.

Wouldn't mind having one.

i thnk Rob's mom has one, somewhere...

i wouldnt mind having one of the new ones. but i dont think i would drive it. everytime i pull up next to one whilst driving i always think it is going to be a girl. and its a guy, i always think, what a fruitcake!...
