I friggin hate real player also but WOW. I mean there are lots of little milestones for Linux and its acceptance in the `main stream` computing realm and it seems to me this is another level of acceptance. Should be interstesting to see what the Linux community response is to the player itself will be.

i dont think it will be that wildly used, there are plenty of players out there are already readily available and that have been worked on for a very long time.

I will stick with XMMS, even though i still have a little trouble with it, no biggie.
