The Notebook.
A real chick flick and a real tear jerker.
I guess what I really love about this movie is the love that is portrayed by the two main characters. The actors make it so real. Down to the littlest facial expressions.
And what I really hate about this movie is the love the two characters have for one another. The love they had was sparked almost instantly and was almost lost just as quickly. But what gets me every time is the seven years they spent apart. Seven years he had it in his mind he would win her back and then to be staring at his long lost love in the eyes again only to almost lose her again kills me.
Maybe it is not hate. Maybe it is a little jealousy.
Now this is a good movie!!! You’re right, it is one you love to hate. Man we (yes,we…my husband and I) cried during this movie. It makes you think of how much you should learn to appreciate the one that you love. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
@deedee What r u tlking about? crying. I had something in my eye.
HEYYY, me and Dale both cried too. I loved it and Nicolas Sparkes encouraged me not to give up on my writing. Of course that was before he made it big. So, I can say I knew him back when he was about to go broke. But, this movie, I don’t want to watch it again. I was emotionally spent when it was over. Sal, you are just too good to be true.
it is a tear jerker…
but such a good movie, i think its one that you can see over and over and you would still feel a little emotional…
I shall see this movie tonight!!
Even just reading your blog now makes me want to cry. I just saw the movie! Eventhough it took me a little over 3 hours to see it, it got to me. It is so beautiful!! I can’t believe I’ve had this movie just sitting in my library w/o being watched!! Got any more movies you want to bring up?
