People ask me all the time why I am such an Elvis fan, and I just say that my mother listened to his music while I was in the womb. I was probably influenced to be a fan by my dad and my brother.
I recently realized that I probably got my manners from Elvis. I love to watch documentaries on him and I saw many of them as I grew up and he was always so courteous to others. So I am sorry if I say excuse me every time I leave the table at lunch or dinner. Blame Elvis.
I have never celebrated his birthday in some weird, fanatic, Elvis freak way but yesterday I got the crazy notion to make Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwhiches a-la Elvis. So I did that today. Sure, they weren’t exactly like his but hey, I am not the King of Rock N’ Roll.
Some of my fellow Jackles joined me and others did not. I don’t know about them but I had a great time but I was tired by the time they left.
Luckily, I didn’t have to give them the boot prematurely and I do have ways of getting rid of people you know. 😉
blame our father for the admiration of elvis, but with Gods grace I dont listen to him anymore, unfortunatly all that useless info is still in the head, by the way did you toast the bread and add honey to the peanut butter,
