As I left work, I asked for the name and saved it in the database. The name was Nana’s Taqueria.
So, as the missus and I asked ourselves many, many times where we each wanted to eat my brain ran a query and out came Nana’s Taqueria. Off to Weslaco we went. Nana’s is pretty easy to find on South International Blvd. Look for the house looking restaurant with lots of lights.
It was a nice night out so we sat outside .It’s very homey because it must’ve been a home at one time. Unfortunately, I was not really wanting Mexican but the Mexican Hot Dogs sounded great! Bacon wrapped, topped with diced tomatoes, cilantro, onions, and guacamole. Hold the onions please!
Very good dogs! I never would have guessed cilantro would be the perfect topping on a hot dog, but it was so good. I want cilantro on all hot dogs now!
Would definitely go back there and would recommend!
Someone is very smart at Nana’s. Sombreros are strategically placed throughout the backyard to entice the selfie generation.
