Famous On Google Street View

Back in December, Robert and I were at a garage sale at the Country Club and the Google Car drove by taking pictures for their Google Maps Street View. Rob posted some pictures of the car on his blog HERE. Google Street View is a feature that Google added to Google Maps that let’s you Zoom into the map and look around as if you are standing in the street. They do this by mounting cameras on cars.

Whenever I remember about that day, I check Google Maps to see if our images are up and lo and behold they finally are!

Google recently decided to blur the faces of people on the street but that is Rob and I standing by his ’67 Camaro. You can pan around and you will see the SS across the street. Pretty cool and it only took eight months to go online.
