At the end of the night, we were just standing around in the parking lot talking about our first cars and we were just laughing. My stomach was hurting because of the Cajun Chicken Pasta so I tried not to laugh but it was hard not to. During all that, something came to my mind. I remembered what Juan said in his blog once. In THIS blog. Read the last sentence.
So anyway, back to the Silence. The four of us were just about done eating. Actually, were eating dessert. The three of them got a Molten and Carlos was kind enough to share his. When out of no where it seems, Juan asked Carlos how he was doing. Carlos quietly told us a few things and then came the awkwardness. The Uncomfortable Silence.
We were a pretty rowdy table up until that point. A minute or two passed when out of the silence came the slurping from Juan’s empty glass of water. Ah man. We just broke out laughing so hard. It was great.
So much fun.
